Halloween is a holiday celebrated in many parts of the world on October 31st evening. The word is sometimes meant for "hallows evening".
People usually celebrate this holiday by doing traditional activities like "trick or treating", costume parties or visiting "haunted places". Irish and Scottish people brought some traditions to the USA in the nineteenth century and then, in the twentieth century; other countries embraced the holiday.
